The E-commerce Creative Manager will play a key role in the advancement of our connected creative strategy across all marketing initiatives. They will help interpret strategic briefing documents and bringing big conceptual ideas to life. This individual will be instrumental in driving innovative ideas and ensuring that all conceptual work ladders back to the brand strategy through creative expression, with oversight of creative concepts, design elements and style guides for all content for Voila. He/she is a creative visionary with an unwavering dedication to world-class creative excellence.

Job Description

•    Build and inspire the in-house creative team, establishing the conceptual and creative direction for all agency design staff. Translate marketing objectives into results-driven, creative and inspiring omni-channel content (including photography, video and digital experiences) that focuses on storytelling for the customer
•    Evaluates campaign requirements; oversees the hiring of all external talent (photographers, food stylists, prop stylists, casting agencies, models, wardrobe stylists, storyboard artists, illustrators and typographers)
•    Manage the development of the customer message, at the conceptual stage, for all channels
•    Strategically align creative concepts with marketing strategies and overall brand direction
•    Interpret briefs execute their needs into one holistic customer message and creative vision
•    Oversee internal and external creative direction along with the content creation journey including initial creative vision, on-set creative direction and creative execution
•    Work collaboratively with assorted stakeholders to help manage the creative process 
•    Responsible for the delivery of in-house, freelance, and Agency partner’s creative projects that deliver on quality and a consistency of messaging
•    Ensure design work is of highest quality, on time and that it reflects brand standards
•    Advocate for best in class creative across the organization
•    Elevate our creative product to positively impact NPS and our customer experience with our brands
•    Manages and fosters relationships with outside vendors; proactively builds on existing network of contacts while continuously scouting new talent to add to creative team roster.
•    Budget Forecasting and Maintenance: Invoice processing and accruals, forecasting, monthly balancing.

Job Requirements

• Bachelor’s/post-secondary degree in marketing, advertising, graphic design, fine arts or  another creative field
• 5+ years of professional work experience in digital design industry  art, 
• 5+ years as a Senior Creative Manager or Associate Creative Director in an Agency
• Experience building and leading creative teams
• Proven track record of success leading small and large creative programs across a variety of mediums
• Strong background in print and digital creative executions
deep experience and hands-on skills developing content and growing brands across various channels and media types
•A strong portfolio illustrating brand campaigns, print and digital-based work (only those with a portfolio will be considered).  
•Service design experience an asset (but not mandatory)
•Advanced proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, Sketch and Abstract programs
•Knowledge of digital design process and best practices, including image optimization, responsive design, digital accessibility, and basic HTML and CSS
•Proficiency in typography 
Expertise in: Adobe Creative Cloud: InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, and an understanding of html/css and responsive design
• Food Photography and Food knowledge is a must
