We are looking for 3 full-time permanent Sales & Capacity Planners to join the Voilà by Sobeys E-Commerce team at our office in Toronto, ON.  Reporting to the Manager of Operational Planning and Analytics, these roles are integral to the launch of our new grocery home delivery business.  You will be responsible for the creation and ownership of the midterm sales forecasts and will monitor, track and adjust to maximize sales and efficiencies. You will be agile in your approach and communicate effectively in a cross-functional team environment.  

What you'll get to do in this fast-paced role:

• Create mid to short term plan of sales, capacity and availability
• Analyze and understand dynamic forecasts to maximize sales, including forecasting key assumptions
• Support the preparation of data analysis, insight and recommendations, as assigned
• Balance delivery and Customer Fulfillment Centre capacity to maximize efficiency
• Perform moderately complex analysis in a specific area such as sales and capacity planning
• Monitor and react to customer demand and slot availability for customers
• Support the planning team in interpreting the trends and variances in key reporting 
• Monitor routing system, including creating routes, resolving violations, and incorporating event considerations
• Provide the business  relevant, reliable and timely sales and capacity planning information including Key Performance Indicators (KPI’s) and appropriate variance analysis
• Assist in new CFC / spoke planning support
• Prepare various ad-hoc reporting requests and analytical reports
• Optimize business process and identify opportunities to reduce costs
• Manage day to day sales and capacity planning operations
• Act as the key contact for emergency capacity planning needs from the CFC
• Identify and respond to and resolve operational issues in a timely manner

• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
• Ability to use multiple computerized systems to compile useful information
• Ability to think critically to tackle difficult analytical challenges
• Minimum of 4-7 years related work experience
• University degree,  BA, BCommerce
• Proficient use of Microsoft Office suite, including intermediate to advanced Excel
• Previous planning experience an asset, including but not limited to integrated planning experience, planning for distribution inbound/outbound; category planning; order forecasting (midterm)
